We recommend washing your böbanc slurp cup after every use with dish soap and warm water. All product components as well as the roll-up straw are also dishwasher safe, so feel free to throw it in the dishwasher for a hands-free rinse.
Your böbanc slurp cup is made of an environmentally friendly, fortified borosilicate glass. Although it is a durable material, please ensure you handle it with care as you would with other glass products, as it can still break if it is subjected to a significant amount of force such as a hard impact drop from a high elevation.
Like the glass cup, we recommend washing your böbanc slurp straw after every use, especially after drinking a thick beverage (such as a smoothie or slush) to prevent clumps from sticking on the inside of the straw.
There are a few ways to clean the inside of the straw. Use the provided straw cleaning brush along with some dish soap and warm water, and insert it into the straw while continuously rotating the pipe cleaner. If you don’t have the straw cleaning brush with you, use a piece of dental floss, string, or long cotton swab to get inside the reusable straw. You can also place the straw inside a pot of boiling water for about 10 minutes, or place it into dishwasher in an upright position for a squeaky clean, sterile reusable straw – ready for another slurping adventure.
Böbanc slurp cup comes in two standard sizes: the regular 17oz and the large 24oz. Use the wide-diameter straw for thick drinks or boba-based drinks with toppings such as chopped fruits, tapioca pearls, coconut jelly, grass jelly, pudding, cheese foam – you name it! You can also use the straw for more liquidity drinks if you like – its entirely up to you.
The 17 oz cup is great for your day-to-day medium sized teas, lattes, long coffees, cappuccinos, smoothies, slushes, frappés, dessert drinks, or regular sized boba.
For the people who like to supersize their drinks, the 24 oz cup is perfect for extra-large lattes, coffees, smoothies, slushes, frappés, dessert drinks, and large sized boba.
Both cups are also perfect for the most hydrating drink of all – water. Fill it up and use it like a water bottle, on-the-go!
Almost all boba stores will accept reusable bubble tea cups. Most of them care about the environment just as much as you do! Many bubble tea shops also provide a 5-10 cent discount if you bring your own reusable up (be sure to ask!), while others sell their own reusable cups. They will happily fill up your own reusable cup just as they would with a disposable cup. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, please check with the bubble tea store before-hand to ensure that they are accepting reusable beverage vessels at this time.
When bringing your böbanc slurp cup to a café or boba shop, please wash your cup beforehand and they will gladly make your favorite beverages in a fresh clean cup. Make sure you tell them that the 17 oz cup is for the regular sized boba, while the 24 oz cup is for the large sized boba. The baristas can also use the böbanc slurp cup as a shaker cup, but please ensure they press down on the lid and plug when shaking to prevent leakage.

Our original böbanc slurp cup was born out of the need to create a stylish yet highly functional product that does the job better than your run of the mill disposable cups. The silicone lid fits snuggly onto the glass cup, and the closure plug seals the mouth opening for a leak-resistant drinking experience. The böbanc slurp cup will not leak if tipped sideways, upside down, or shaken moderately. If the cup is overfilled and placed in an upside down position, or shaken vigorously for long periods of time, this may cause the lid or plug to unseal. Additionally, we do not recommend placing a filled böbanc cup inside a backpack – but it fits perfectly on the side of your external backpack bottle holder.
Use it however you please! You can drink out of the lid opening without a straw, or with a straw. You can also remove the lid entirely, and drink directly out of the glass cup for a more aromatic experience. When the beverage vessel is holding boiling liquids over 65°C, be sure to leave the plug in the open position to release steam pressure, otherwise the closed container will build up pressure and the lid may eject off the cup, which may cause scalds and burns. Do not shake the cup when the plug is in the closed position when the vessel is filled with hot drinks, as this will cause heat pressure to build up as well.

Yes! The silicone parts, including the lid, straw, straw case, and sleeve are completely interchangeable between the 17 oz and the 24 oz cup sizes.
Böbanc glass slurp cup is made of borosilicate glass. All other components, including the lid, plug, sleeve, straw, and straw case are made with food-grade silicone. All components are tested, and are FDA food-grade certified. This means that the materials do not leach chemicals or degrade into small particles that would harm your body.
Glass is better than plastic, for you and the planet. Glass is an inert material (which means it does not leach chemicals unlike plastics) and provides crystal-clear clarity which lets you taste your beverages in its purest form while allowing you to show off you flavors on the inside. Plus, its super easy to clean, and great for you and Mother Nature’s health in the long run. Glass is 100% recyclable, while over 90% of plastics are not recycled.
Reusable silicone straws have a softer feel, which makes it easier on the teeth and bendable to your liking. It is also a much safer option than glass and stainless steel, as these materials pose a health hazard or serious injury risk. Silicone also doesn’t conduct temperature as well as glass or steel, which means your straw won’t get as hot or cold.
We design our böbanc cups for a lifelong sipping adventure. We have thoughtfully considered the materials, functionality, and quality when developing our products. The beverage vessels are made with borosilicate glass, which is harder than regular glass. Additionally, borosilicate glass have high temperature resistance and thermal shock resistance, which means it can withstand 400°C temperature, and an instant difference in temperature of 170°C. This means you can pour boiling water into the böbanc cup and it won’t crack.
Unlike plastic, our silicone is a non-poorous material so it is odourless, and stain-free. If you find that general cleaning has not removed a mark on the silicone, soak the silicone in a grease cutting dish detergent for half an hour, or apply baking soda and hydrogen peroxide and soak for 24 hours to allow the liquids to work its magic on those stubborn marks.
Borosilicate glass is made of boron trioxide with silica sand. These are safe and eco-friendly compounds which make borosilicate glass more heat resistant and thermal shock resistant than other forms of glass on the market. It is also non-toxic, non-porous, retains heat, is light-weight, and has excellent clarity.
Yes, it is completely safe! Not only can you put your böbanc cup in the microwave and dishwasher, it is also safe to place directly into the freezer (not sure when you would do that but there’s a time and place for everything ).
Plastics tend to be made with a laundry list of unknown chemicals, and can degrade over time to produce microplastic particles (known to be cancer causing) which can accumulate inside your body. That is why we commit to only using non-toxic silicone that does not degrade into microparticles, and can be used and reused comfortably for as long as you desire.

Once we have received an order (post-launch), we get our orders out on the road as soon as possible. In general, we will dispatch the order between 1-2 business days. If you made a mistake in your order or would like to cancel the order for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and amendment/cancellation request.

If you have not received your order within 14 days, please contact us and we will help you locate and track your order.
As böbanc products are food and beverage items, for hygienic reasons, we only accept returns of faulty products, or items in its original packaging and have been unused and are in a saleable condition. You will need to show proof of purchase.
You have 14 days notify us, and 30 days to return the unused item to us (at your expense). Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If 30 days have passed since your order was delivered, we cannot offer you a refund.
If the order was returned due to an incorrect address of the package was not claimed, böbanc has the right to recharge shipping costs for the product to be re-shipped.
Unfortunately, we do not accept items for exchange. If you would like a replacement, you will need to place a new order and return the item in original condition.
Once we receive your item back, we will assess the product condition and/or defect in question, and we will let you know promptly whether we accept your return. Once we accept your return, the total amount paid for the item (less shipping) will be refunded to you using your original payment method. The cost of shipping may be refunded according to the consumer laws in your jurisdiction. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. if you receive a refund for a faulty product, the cost of return shipping will be reimbursed as part of this refund upon provision of a receipt.
